Nobody ever loves you
Like you love them
Nobody ever cares for you
Like you care for them
Still our hearts are broken
When they don’t
Still we cry
Even though we know
Nobody will be there for you
Like you are for them
You keep wishing
Hoping for a day when things change
But things go on just the same
Day after day
Every day
Nobody will ever love you
Like you love them
Nobody will ever love you
The way I do
Nobody will ever want to be with you
The way I want to be
But things will never change
They only just ever stay the same

And still we cry
Because we dare to care
Even as we say
